Conveniently located close the city centre of Edinburgh, Forthland Lodge offers residents safe, comfortable surroundings in a purpose-built nursing home. Our purpose-built care home provides high quality, personalised nursing care for people living with an acquired brain injury and older people, including those living with dementia and its related conditions.

Your role as a Meallmore Charge Nurse will include:
Providing leadership to ensure the highest standards of care and clinical practice
Oversee and coordinate the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents.
Develop and implement individualised and person-centred care plans based on residents' needs and preferences.
Monitor and assess residents' health, promptly addressing any changes or medical concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Promote a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications and skills:
At least two years care home experience with well-developed clinical knowledge
Relevant nursing qualification and current registration with the NMC
The ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team
Professional confidence with a calm approach and the ability to set professional boundaries
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to your work
Understanding of regulatory frameworks
